Site Update: May 14, 2018

Today’s update mostly has to do with the podcast and the episodes themselves. There’s some other cool stuff, and a couple of big announcements too, so let’s get to it.

First, the updates:

  • On every podcast episode, you can now see a list of who’s on the episode! This way, if you find yourself wanting to hear more of a specific cast member, you can do it! The current cast on the “About Us” page are all now linked into this, so just click their name, and you can see what episodes they’re on. You can also do this from the episode itself, just click on the names, like in the bottom right of this picture:
  • We’ve made changes to our tagging system, added and subtracted tags as needed from every episode. This makes it a lot easier to browse by what subjects we hit on. Further improvements will be made as needed, in the future.

Now, we gotta take a minute and apologize. We fucked up, really hard. We got a bit too big headed, and figured an entire season of ONE subject would work as well as our multiverse season did. Well, turns it, we were extremely fucking wrong. As such, we are going to finish the season (ending at 10 episodes of Hellboy), pushing out as many episodes as fast as we can. There’s only one left to record, and that should be done in a timely manner.

After Hellboy is behind us, we’re going to go back to what worked. A “comic of the week” style format, where we just do what we love. If we don’t love what we’re doing, how can we expect you to even like it? And frankly, we’ve lost a step during this Hellboy nonsense, too. So it’s time to get back what brought you all here, and we hope you stay with us, because we’re only going to get better from here.

Now, on to our really big announcement:

We’re expanding the cast, again!

I’ve been doing some streaming off and on, mostly to just amuse myself. Well, we picked up a new cast member from those streams.

Piper

So joining us, as of today, is Piper! She’s already recorded an episode with us, and despite it being in the sub-par Hellboy nonsense, she proved a good fit, and we immediately planned to keep her around, and bring her into the normal episode schedule, going forward.

So everyone say hi to Piper, and you’ll be hearing her very soon.
